BlvckMarkt Ventures Africa is a technology company, based in Nairobi, that builds and runs its own products for Africa. Each one takes on a single everyday problem that people across the continent still solve with phone calls, WhatsApp groups and word of mouth.

We started with buying and selling, because almost everyone does it and almost everyone has been let down by it at some point. That became Plugg. Every product follows the same path: start from a problem we have seen first hand, build for it, prove it in Kenya, then scale it to the rest of Africa.
